Organized the digitization of 150,000 pages of materials from Rutgers University’s libraries. Working as a partner in the Lyrasis Mass Digitization Collaborative, and in conjunction with Rutgers University library’s Distributed Technical Services department and Special Collections, selected, examined, and updated catalog records of hundreds of books for shipment to the off site scanning facility. Along with the Scholarly Communication Center at Alexander Library, inputted all digitized files and metadata into the Rutgers Community Repository (RUcore).

Trained and supervised student employees as they digitized materials for the online repository, checked the completed work, ensured documents meet the collection policy, handled communications with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and users, fulfilled document requests, and made updates to the website’s homepage announcements.

Entered metadata into the WMS and into Past Perfect.
